TOCC adds two new locations to its growing list of statewide pick-up sites, offering patients nearby access to medical cannabis prescriptions

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation (TOCC), Texas’ leading medical cannabis provider, today announced the opening of a new prescription pick-up location in Fort Worth and its third location in Houston.

Since 2020, the company has opened multiple locations throughout the state, including its newest sites in Fort Worth and Houston. The company currently operates pick-up sites in Dallas, Houston, San Antonio and Austin. TOCC’s continued expansion provides additional opportunities for patients and caregivers to easily obtain their medical cannabis prescriptions on a weekly basis.

“As we welcome more patients into the Compassionate Use Program this fall, it’s critical we provide options for them to access their medical cannabis in the most convenient ways,” said Morris Denton, TOCC’s CEO. “We’re glad to partner with physicians in Fort Worth and Houston so our patients near these cities can enjoy the flexibility of picking up their prescriptions locally. While we cannot store inventory outside of our Austin dispensary under the CUP’s strict mandate—making it unduly difficult to quickly and efficiently get our product into the hands of our patients—our statewide pick-up sites offer an alternative for thousands of patients throughout Texas to safely, legally and easily access their medicine.”

The Fort Worth facility will operate Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The Houston-area facility will operate Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Spring, Texas. TOCC’s statewide pick-up locations are open at the following times:

  • North Austin: Mondays, 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
  • South Austin (Manchaca): Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Plano: Wednesdays, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Katy: Fridays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • South Houston: Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • San Antonio: Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
  • Fort Worth: Thursdays, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
  • North Houston (Spring): Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

TOCC’s gummies, tincture and lozenge products are available for statewide delivery at www.texasoriginal.com, at their dispensary in Austin, Texas, and at the aforementioned patient pick-up locations. TOCC is also expanding to Bastrop, Texas, with a new cultivation, processing and dispensing facility that will be completed in the first half of 2022.
