TXOG introduces weekly medical cannabis delivery to El Paso, the Texas Panhandle, the Rio Grande Valley and Northeast Texas

AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Texas Original Compassionate Cultivation (TXOG), Texas’ leading medical cannabis provider, announced it will expand its distribution services for patients in El Paso, the Texas Panhandle, the Rio Grande Valley and Northeast Texas beginning next month. In January, TXOG will increase the frequency of its medical cannabis deliveries in those regions from biweekly to weekly, thus granting patients additional accessibility, flexibility and convenience in scheduling prescription deliveries.

“We are the state’s leading licensed medical cannabis provider for a reason: our dedication to serving those who rely on our medicine every day,” said Morris Denton, CEO of TXOG. “Our customer service and customer operations team have a tremendous resolve to be the best in Texas. Patients that depend on medical cannabis to live healthy lives can trust they will receive their prescriptions as often as every week—something no other provider in the state can promise—and we look forward to improving our service and our reach every day.”

TXOG is unable to ship prescriptions to patients through the mail due to regulations under the Compassionate Use Program. To address this challenge and guarantee patients throughout the state receive their medicine, the company continues to invest in its distribution network to ensure it has the capacity to support the growing Texas market. TXOG assembled a fleet of drivers to deliver prescriptions directly to its patients’ doorsteps. TXOG’s drivers have driven approximately 200,000 miles across the state in 2021, an amount that will continue to climb with additional trips to El Paso, the Texas Panhandle, the Rio Grande Valley and Northeast Texas each week.

“Our goal is to provide the most convenient methods for TXOG patients to access critical medicine no matter where they live in Texas,” said Aaron Trahan, head of customer operations for TXOG. “Introducing a broader delivery schedule enables TXOG to reach more patients across our vast state in less time. With this new service, we can now deliver our life-changing medicine across all areas of Texas on a much more frequent basis. This will create unrivaled accessibility to our top-quality medical cannabis products no matter where in the state our patients reside.”

TXOG’s gummies, tincture and lozenge products are available for statewide delivery at www.texasoriginal.com, at their dispensary in Austin, Texas, and through the company’s convenient pick-up locations in North Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, Houston and San Antonio.
