Trump Bans CBD Use in the Military

Donal Trump 2017

Trump has recently announced the ban on CBD use by the military because it might “interfere with marijuana testing.”

The Department of Defense (DOD) announced this new policy earlier in February, averring a ban on all active and reserve service members against using hemp products, including CBD. This ban is aimed to protect drug testing for marijuana since the DoD is concerned about the military’s use of a substance that is consumed by more than half of the United States’ greatest athletes – people who are required to be fit for training similar to military recruits.

Whether or not this remains to be a viable decision is still up for debate. Reports have shown other problems such as alcoholism in the military which still remains prevalent and permissible. However, it is agreed that The Drug Warriors’ takeover on the Trump administration is slowly emanating.
